SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Review of applications will begin on December 16 and continue on a rolling basis until funds are expended.

The SRI partners are committed to ensuring a broad diversity of participation across nations, disciplines, and communities.  Thanks to generous support from sponsors, the SRI2025 Congress Scholarship aims to provide financial support to individuals with limited resources, enabling them to attend the SRI2025 Congress either online or in Chicago. This scholarship reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive approach in sustainability research and innovation.Based on sponsor guidelines, priority will be given to:

  • Individuals from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) who bring divergent perspectives to global sustainability challenges.
  • Members of marginalized populations in the United States.

The scholarship may cover registration costs for either online or in-person participation.  For those seeking to participate in person, other eligible expenses include travel to the conference, hotel accommodations, and food. Scholarship amounts will depend on a range of factors and are intended to offset, though not fully cover, the full cost of participation. Participants in the SRI Congress will gain access to a unique opportunity to engage with global leaders, present their research, expand their networks, and contribute to impactful dialogues on sustainability. By supporting diverse voices and experiences, the scholarship seeks to ensure a richer, more inclusive exchange of ideas and solutions for a resilient future. Applications are encouraged from students, early-career professionals, practitioners, and community leaders who are passionate about advancing sustainability research and innovation on a global scale.
